Overview
Equips adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to a friend, family member, co-worker, or another adult, experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
Course Overview
The Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) program is an internationally accredited training that teaches people how to support someone who may be experiencing a mental health challenge. It provides simple, practical steps that anyone can learn. The goal is to help people respond with confidence, care, and early support.
Mental health concerns are rising in Bangladesh. Many people do not know how to respond when a colleague, student, or friend is struggling. Stigma and lack of awareness often stop people from seeking help.
MHFA fills this gap. It increases understanding, builds supportive communities, and promotes early intervention. MHFA is important for Bangladesh because it helps workplaces, academic institutions, and families create safer, more empathetic environments.
